Have you ever wondered what it would feel like or even look like to join ringette? Well let us take you on a little journey we like to call Come Try Ringette.

Ringette, the fastest game on ice. Offering competition at every skill level, from recreational, to high performance, to university, ringette seeks to develop athletes to their maximum potential, both on and off the ice. Played with a ring and a straight stick while on skates, with five skaters plus a goalie per team on the ice at once. The game is played three on three in the offensive/defensive zones, and players have thirty seconds to take a shot on net. Ringette has been played since 1963, now with over 31,000 players every year across all 10 provinces and territories.

Come Try Ringette is an opportunity for all players to try out our sport for free. Come Try Ringette is offered across the province, giving any young individual a taste of the magic, while helping local Clubs develop and grow the sport of ringette. Our Come Try Ringette events are offered to all ages and abilities. We hope to show those who participate the passion that ringette can provide.

Come Try Ringette is just the beginning of one’s journey in this sport. Many athletes who have attended a Come Try Ringette event have gone on to play at the highest competitive levels within the province on the national stage for Team Ontario and the international stage for Team Canada. It can also shape your future in the ringette community, building long lasting friendships and memories. “Attending one Come try ringette shaped my life for the last 14 years. Since that CTR, I have had the privilege of playing all levels of ringette, including AAA for Ringette Ontario this past season. It started out as fun with friends and ended up being a culture and community I have grown up in.”

To get started, you can view all the Come Try Ringette events in Ontario and register easily at To attend an event, all you need is skates, and a certified helmet, nothing else! Start your ringette journey with any of the amazing Clubs in the province and see where the sport can take you.
